Terms & Conditions

  1. Instruments MUST BE STERILIZED before shipment. J.J. Quality Instrument Services reserves the right to charge for the sterilization of any contaminated or unclean instruments received.
  2. Instruments for the above services should be sent via courier or Canada Post insured mail at YOUR cost. We do not accept responsibility for damaged parcels.
  3. Please pack instruments properly and make sure a return address and phone number is included with the package. Sharp instruments protruding from envelopes are deemed "undeliverable" by Canada Post.
  4. Normal repair work will be done within 3-5 weeks.
  5. Items that are unable to be repaired will be returned or replaced with new instruments at your request.
  6. Please itemize instruments according to quantity, brand name, and instrument style indicated on the handle, followed by instructions: i.e. sharpen, retip same, retip and change to...
  7. All claims resulting from either shortages or shipping damages must be made within one week from receipt of order.
  8. All instruments are guaranteed against defects in material or workmanship for 60 days from the date of invoice.
  9. A 2% discount will be applied to all prepaid VISA or MasterCard payments.
  10. PAYMENT IS DUE UPON RECEIPT OF INVOICE. An interest rate of 1.5% per month will be applied to all overdue accounts.
  11. Shipping charged will depend on destination. PST and GST apply on all orders (GST only, for out-of-province orders).
  12. Prices are subject to change without notice.
  13. Instruments lost during shipping or those needing replacement will be replaced with our brand instruments only.
